Description
A bright ruby red, with a bouquet characterised by intense, persistent aromas of red berries giving way to spicy, balsamic undertones. Full-bodied in the mouth, guided by the smooth, fine structure of its tannins, with long persistence and a finish pleasantly balanced by its mineral qualities.
Perfect with meat courses and intense, aromatic dishes.
Our Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG stands out for its harmonious bouquet and full body on the palate. Like all our grapes, these are harvested strictly by hand. Fermented with maceration on the skins for 18/20 days, the wine is then aged 24 months in 500 litre Allier oak barrels before ageing another 10 months in the bottle.
